We are so excited to welcome the wonderful Reading Therapy Dogs and handlers here to Jefferson School to listen to the students read! Each year the children look forward to the visits. The students have increased confidence in their reading skills and are continuing to improve! The children also develop an appreciation for the dogs and have learned how to interact with them in a supportive and positive situation. The dogs are great reading companions for our students!
